The Sentiero dell'Aquila is a 7 km circular hiking trail immersed in the heart of the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Park . It owes its name to the area it passes through, a hunting and nesting area for the pair of Golden Eagles that permanently live on the slopes of the two Gorges. During the excursion, along the route of which you will encounter several equipped rest points where you can comfortably regain your strength, our expert Hiking Guide will accompany you through downy oak woods, small villages and panoramic points to fully understand one of the richest areas of the Park , a wonderful treasure chest of biodiversity.
