Saturday - ARCEVIA CASTLES AND THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES IN ITALY
In the morning, meeting of the participants and departure on a Vespa to immerse ourselves in the heart of the Marches of Ancona with an itinerary to discover the castles of Arcevia. These are small fortified medieval villages from which you can enjoy splendid views. We will first pass through the castle of Montale, clinging to a hill and dating back to 1200, and then through that of Piticchio. Here we will stroll through the narrow alleys and on the patrol path for an unforgettable experience. We will then continue towards Palazzo, a village immersed in the woods of Monte Caudino, and then Loretello, the oldest of the castles and one of the best examples of military architecture in the Marches. Free lunch. After lunch, departure on a vespa for an itinerary to discover some of the most beautiful villages in Italy. We will head towards Mondavio, one of the most fascinating villages in the Marche region. Here you can admire the intact Rocca Roveresca designed for military purposes by the Renaissance architect Francesco di Giorgio Martini. We will then continue to Corinaldo where you can visit the wonderful historic center with its famous "Pozzo della Polenta" and its still intact medieval walls. Finally, we will cross some colorful hills on the way back. Duration of the tour: about 7h.
